You can get your dog bathed and help the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast’s shelter animals at the same time by patronizing the Stuart Green Market’s Pet Festival & Dog Wash. The event will be held on Sun., July 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 121 SW Flagler Ave., next to City Hall. Admission is free and the suggested dog wash donation is $10. All proceeds benefit the HSTC.

Additional pet festival activities include special musical guests, “Permanent Affair,” specialty pet vendors, a Green Market basket raffle and HSTC dogs for adoption on-site from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mutt March raffle tickets also will be on sale during the event at the HSTC booth. Three prizes — $1000, $500 and $250 American Express gift cards — will be awarded to three lucky winners when the tickets are randomly drawn at the Nov. 9 Mutt March. The winner does not need to be present to win.
