It won’t be long before four-legged friends will be lining the street at Memorial Park in Stuart. On Sat., Oct. 27, hundreds of costumed dogs and their owners will participate in the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast’s (HSTC) 10th annual Mutt March, presented by the Petco Foundation. Pet owners are invited to pre-register for the Mutt March on Thurs., Oct. 18, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Key Lime Cantina, 211 Colorado in Stuart. Dogs are welcome!
Adult pre-registration is $10 and includes one drink, chips and salsa and DJ music by T-Rex Entertainment. Children 15 and under are free and include a limited edition T-Shirt and a coupon book to local participating businesses. Mutt March raffle tickets for the winner’s choice of a $1000 Publix or $1000 Visa Gift Card also will be on sale during the event, at the HSTC shelter in Palm City, at the HSTC thrift stores in Stuart and online at https://www.hstc1.org.
Pre-registrations and donations also may be made online by going to http://www.firstgiving.com/hstc1. People also can build and create their own fundraising page in a few easy steps, then tell their friends and family to log on and support their efforts.
The Mutt March is one of the HSTC’s most popular fundraising events.
