A great source of income for the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast is our Thrift Store in nearby Stuart. Our Thrift Store is currently located at 2020 S.E. Federal Highway near Winn- Dixie behind the Atlanta Bread Company. (This Fall, we will be moving to a new location just 1 mile south on Federal Highway).
At the Thrift Store, we sell gently-used clothing, jewelry, accessories, nearly new furniture and household items all at great prices. We even have some shelter cats and kittens available there for adoption!
More than a team of 80 volunteers help keep the store clean and tidy, sort incoming items and prepare them for the retail floor, and of course sell.
Hours of operation are 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Monday - Saturday and 12:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
(Remember to begin your service with us, you must attend an orientation and be scheduled for training by the Volunteer Coordinator).
Upon completion of your orientation, an appoinment will be made with the Thrift Store Manager for training and scheduling.
