Thrift Store Volunteer Positions
More than a team of 80 volunteers help keep the store clean and tidy, sort incoming items and prepare them for the retail floor, and of course sell.
If you are interested in volunteering at one of our Thrift Stores, please fill out a Volunteer Application and submit.
Cashier - Assist customers in checking out with their purchases. Make sure front cashier area is neat and filled in and that supplies are plentiful at the front counter.
Sales Floor - Keep sales floor straightened, sized and appropriately stocked. Assist with putting out new merchandise. Assist cashier with bagging when needed. Keep dressing rooms clear of clothes and trash.
Clothes Sorter - Sort the incoming clothing donations. Hang them on the proper hangers and racks.
Electronic Tester - Test and price the incoming electronics. Keep electronic area filled in and neat. Assist with receiving duties when needed.
Receiving Volunteer - Assist donors with incoming donations. Sort the incoming donations and put in proper area.
Large Pick-Ups - Go out on HSTC truck to pick up furniture items and be able to lift heavy items.
Linens-Housewares Sorter & Pricer - Sort incoming linen items. Price, fill and straighten linen section.
