More than 80 volunteers help keep the store clean and attractive, sort incoming items and prepare them for the retail floor, and sale.
If you are interested in volunteering at one of our Thrift Stores, please stop in one of our stores or fill out a Volunteer Application and submit.
Cashier - Assist customers in checking out with their purchases. Make sure front counter area is neat and stocked.
Sales Floor - Keep sales floor straightened, sized and appropriately stocked. Assist with putting out new merchandise. Assist cashier with bagging when needed. Keep dressing rooms clean.
Clothes Sorters & Pricers - Sort the incoming clothing donations. Hang them on the proper hangers and racks.
Evaluate Electronics - Test and price the incoming electronics. Keep electronic area filled in and neat. Assist with receiving duties when needed.
Receiving - Assist donors with incoming donations. Sort the incoming donations and put in proper area.
Linens-Housewares Sorter & Pricer - Sort incoming linen items. Price, fill and straighten linen section.
Large Pick-Ups - Go out on HSTC truck to pick up furniture items and be able to lift heavy items.
