New Thrift Store Opens With Bargains Galore!
Bargain hunters, take note! The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast is already known for having some of the best deals in town at its Thrift Store at 2585 SE Federal Highway in Stuart. Now the deals double with the opening of its second thrift store. Thrift Store North is located in Stuart but close to the border of Jensen Beach, 1099 NW 21st Street, just north of the Roosevelt Bridge on the west side of US 1.
The new location at the Jensen Beach-Stuart border will allow the HSTC to serve supporters north of the Roosevelt Bridge while still providing the same quality selection at its flagship store in Stuart. In addition to finding great prices on name brand clothing, Thrift Store North also will feature furniture, appliances, knick-knacks, collectibles, artwork, kitchenware and much more.
Thrift Store North also will feature a dedicated adoption area featuring cats every day and dogs on occasion. The current store in Stuart adopts more than 100 cats annually, and the new location is expected to top that number.
The Humane Society thrift stores are extensions of its Palm City shelter providing quality items at fantastic resale prices with all proceeds supporting the HSTC’s programs and services.

Donation Information
Donations are gladly accepted during operating hours at the drop off door located behind the store. We accept almost anything that you would find in your home. We only ask that donations be stain free, in good condition without holes and tears. All items must be in good working order complete with all parts. Unfortunately, we cannot accept mattresses, box springs, plumbing fixtures, large appliances, paint or computers and monitors. Usually left over garage sale items are not saleable items for us.
Too much for you to handle? For furniture donations, give us a call at (772) 286-6909 and we will schedule a pick-up of clean, stain free undamaged items.
