The measure of our success is multiple and meaningful.
Every time we reunite a family with a lost pet or find a forever home for a resident of our shelter, we have success. When one of our Pet Therapy teams brings a warm and comforting smile to a nursing home resident, or a child asks a question in our humane education class, we measure our success. When animals that came to us abused or neglected and we see them healthy, happy and in a loving and forever home, we know we are successful. When people come to one of our human-animal events and they bring one of our former shelter residents as a member of their family, we know that we are successful.
However, we also measure success in a more quantifiable way.
