Pet owners who are looking to improve their dog’s manners or take a class that is fun for all may want to take advantage of the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast’s newest course schedule. All classes cost $120 and will take place at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, 4100 SW Leighton Farm Ave., in Palm City. Advance registration and payment is required to reserve a spot in class.
The classes include:
Pet Therapy Class - six weeks
AKC STAR Puppy - six weeks - for dogs one year and under
Basic Obedience - seven weeks - for dogs one year or older
Advanced Obedience - seven weeks - includes AKC Canine Good Citizen testing
Focus Foundations - six weeks - for dogs of all ages
Agility classes include Skills & Obstacles Levels I & II, Agility Jrs. (Kids), Sequencing Levels I & II and an Advanced/Competition Class. Focus Foundation class is a pre-requisite for all agility classes.
