Humane Society of the Treasure Coast volunteers present Santa’s Chocolate Festival
Stuart, Fla. — Volunteers at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast’s two thrift stores in Stuart are promising pure chocolate and pure fun at Santa’s Chocolate Festival. This first-time event will take place 9 a.m.-3 p.m, Sat., Dec. 7, at both thrift stores: Thrift Store Central, 2585 SE Federal Highway, Stuart and Thrift Store North, 1099 NW 21st Street, Stuart.
All holiday inventory will be on sale and will include one-of-a-kind gifts. The festival also will feature professional pet and people photos with Santa sponsored by JC Penny Portrait Studios. No appointment is needed. A donation of $10 is requested and pictures will be available to take home the same day. In addition, there will be pet adoptions at both locations and a “More Than a Coffee Break” station, which will feature coffee, tea or a soft drink to go along with homemade tasty treats.
Store Manager Terry Arnett said the home baked goods should satisfy those with a sweet tooth.
“We will have a delectable selection of chocolately goodness baked and presented with care by our talented volunteers,” said Arnett.
