The event will feature a three course meal at Renato’s and prizes will be awarded.
"Whether you’re the mother of a two legged or four legged son or daughter, the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast wants to honor you in celebration of Mother’s Day," said HSTC Event Manager Jackie Ranaldo. "Last year’s event was so popular that it sold out so we are encouraging supporters to make their reservations now."
Proceeds will support the care of the HSTC’s shelter animals and its community outreach programs.
Since 1955, the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, located at 4100 SW Leighton Farm Ave. in Palm City, has been the leading advocate for animal welfare in the Martin County area. A 501(c)3 private, nonprofit organization, the Humane Society relies on donations to support its programs and services. Stuart, Fla. — Dogs will be strutting their stuff on a catwalk during the Mother’s Day Doggie Fashion Show and Luncheon, presented by the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast (HSTC). Fashion models, along with the HSTC’s pet therapy volunteers and their pets, will show off the latest styles from Harbour Bay Plaza’s fine apparel stores. The event will take place on Fri., May 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Renato’s Italian Ristorante & Grille, located at Harbour Bay Plaza at 3720 SE Ocean Blvd., in Sewall’s Point. The cost is $40 per person.
