Join us for a day of fun learning about the care of your pet, pet safety, CGC Testing, pet micro-chipping, a children's art contest and an opportunity to pre-register for the Mutt March. The discounted cost to micro-chip your dog or cat, which will take place from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., is only $20. Owners and their dogs can undergo the AKC Canine Good Citizenship test (please call for an appointment). You can also register for the annual Mutt March. Information will be provided on hurricane and pet safety, first aid pet kits, treating heat exhaustion and how to choose the right breed and much, much more. Children's artwork also will be on display as part of the contest that is underway now. Prizes will be awarded for the artwork.
